how can teleport a relic
i teleported it from south america to africa in
one tick it wont do the same any more

That bug still remains...arg

A relic is not supposed to move in one tick. It should move like a regular squad but 3 times slower.

It is more practical to have it go slow. You can move hundreds of units for no oil so it would be unfair to have an enemy on the other side of the world and teleport it to them when they are asleep or their units are away.

Relics currently move 250KM per tick of travel, they will be slowed down to 60KM per tick in a day or two when we do our next major update.

It doesn't make sense that relics would be faster than squads. Squads travel at 100KM per tick and that means relics are more than 2.5 times faster than squads!

The old relics caused headaches where the alliance that owned a relic would often pass it off to an ally if they were defeated in battle. They would relocate and someone else would get the relic instead of the alliance that lost tons of units in trying to get it from them. We also had situations of alliances passing relics back and forth around the globe from tiny little island outposts.

It was just such a frustrating system and the rewards more often than not went to players who didn't earn them. The new relics solve that problem.
