while I agree that VND has too many subs (or allies, or brother alliances, watever u want to call), I disagree on the part that VND isn't deserved to win. They went from wars after wars, and most of them the numbers of allies in both side are the same.

Plus, unlike most sub empires battles, where the subs are used as meat shield, u can rarely see VND's side loss in the wars, the only suicide attacks were from TFM (and apollo suicide on CBop, guess apollo can't do anything else apart from suiciding).

SoLD took the right stance, as I said in VND vs SAGE thread a few days ago, unless SoLD has around 10 active and strong allies, or somehow create an internal conflict inside VND's allies, they going against VND is a suicidal idea. If SoLD had wanted to win against VND, they would have done it when Fear and SAGE started to attack on VND, not at this time when the war is basically over.

At this time of the era, there are nothing else SoLD can do, apart from picking off alliances which are not related to VND's side, probably GML, or just sit and watch and probably take 2nd or 3rd.

To fight an empire you must have an empire. I find it honorable that Sold is holding up what they agreed to initially even though I would like to see them fight.

well it was an unfortunate event, I must admit. However I brought that up because it was the only whole-army loss from VND, despite taking a big role in all of the wars.
