Both sides will inevitably play the "backstabber!" card. I'd like to make it clear that there is really no good side here.

Redwurm is a really good player, he doesn't win from money... he has had an unlucky career, but he is certainly good. Saying otherwise is unfair to him.

I am not exactly familiar with the ExSo roster, but I can say for sure that Redwurm was one of the better ones simply because I know Redwurm. His complaints about the team could very well be true, though not being in the alliance I can't say for sure. I am conquered somewhere just watching.

That being said, joining ARM? You really expected to just waltz from one alliance into the rival alliance WITH YOUR RELIC? You've got to be kidding me. If you are truly unhappy with the team, and if Morgan was your friend as you claim... you should have bowed out, given your stuff to ExSo and quit.

I would only consider joining the enemy alliance during the round if your team is a complete joke and refuse to help themselves. From what has been said here that is not the case, there is not even a war to have failed at yet. The only way I could have seen a move from ExSo to ARM gone over smoothly in a fair manner would have been if war broke out and you were the only one really fighting ARM, organizing things, etc. Since that was not the case I do not believe you had reasonable expectations for ExSo letting you leave.

That's my two cents.

This is a sad story, but I think that the main issue here is that many of the elites now are losing what it means to play BD the correct way, and that statement goes for everyone. If the world wasn't so double sided, then things would not be as such, really, a true BD world should have more than just 2 major factions, it keeps things like this, or anythings similar to this for that matter from happening.

Sorry for what happened Redwurm, I am sure that in the future luck will shine brightly on you.

Hi it so interesting to here about people thoughts on the game, I know Exso I have had the pleasure playing with them also, Morgan is a great guy I know. I don't know all aspects of this seperation of exso to combine with ARM. I know Exso I am sure don't have any newbs on his team, maybe veterans because their style is diffrent from the new players. I am sorry you felt mis treated but for future reference I would think twice before I made such drastic moves. Always remember:
For every action there is a reaction!

Ah, Lady Catherine, nice to see you again :)

No, it isn't Sir Wolf, it is Menehune of ASEN, we've played on the same alliance before, ASEN and GENx.

This whole issue is just about a rivalry between ExSo and ARM, but I hope both ExSo and ARM don't forget about ASEAN ;)

But in all reality, Redwurm, there was no way you could have moved into ARM with your relic, that wouldn't have happened. At the same time, the manner in which the attack was executed was wrong as well. At the same time, it was again unfair for the ExSo members to take Morgan out of position to kick Redwurm, and it was wrong for ARM to have almost allowed Redwurm to join knowing it would cause chaos.....

There are just too many factors here, I think that what is done is done, and until something happens in the future, we should all just keep on playing the game.

Because remember, this is just a game....a GREAT game, but still a game.

From what I read I don't think the issue was that he was not allowed to keep his relic (although it seems to be the only thing that any of the responses address) he already said in his first post that he did agree to leave the relic, but that after making that agreement was assured he would not be kicked and attacked, and then was kicked and attacked..

As far as ARM not rejecting his application to join, if a player is not happy or not getting along in their alliance it's best for everyone - the player, and the alliance, if they leave, rather than hang around and cause more issues and arguments, and I really don't see who it would be helping if any other alliance blankly refuses to accept them

The other side of the coin though is that in the real world, lying to an adversary and then stabbing them in the back is one of the basics of military strategy. If you can achieve what you need to through getting someone to believe whatever you tell them, then it's commonly referred to as tactics, and while I myself get pretty pissed off when anyone lies and then takes action I was not expecting. We can't really brand people as criminals for using the backstab as a strategy in what it supposed to be a strategy game. So I can understand where the anger and frustration comes from - I would probably feel the same, but also I think that it serves as a good reminder that trusting the word of people who are no longer on the same "team" as you, may not be the best idea in a war game..

Well, Redwurm suggested that those that leave ExSo hand over their crystals over to keep resource production high.

So, you don't include yourself? If YOU leave, you should hand over your crystals and relics as well...don't be a hypocrite. No way we will let you join a rival alliance with 7x crystals and a relic.
