This is a relatively small update with a few really good treats packed inside!
Enjoy!

Here is your change/update log:

1.) Alliance chat added! - That's right! Now the alliance chat is set in place. If you are not in an alliance, you will be set to world chat by default.
Some BB code can be used in the alliance chat to alter color or embolden or italicize fonts. We are considering more features to add to and customize the chat in the future, but as of right now, you can use it!

We know you all have been waiting for it, and it is our pleasure to finally provide! Enjoy!! :)

2.) Vote Rewards!- You now get 1 crystal for each 200 votes you make for Battle Dawn (for those of you unaware, you can vote for BattleDawn by clicking the "BOOST" button, then clicking "bonuses". Each vote gets you a small amount of metal and now crystals over time!)

3.) BOOST Tweak! - Administrators on each server can now begin offering discounts off of supporter packages in their servers! Watch for administrators having occasional discount events on your server!

4.) Battle Tweak! - Nukes will no longer kill workers in a colony.
*Removed due to negative player feedback*

5.) Delete colony - This option was removed from the client for a few reasons:
a) Facebook users(Who were automatically registered via facebook and not linked to an existing BD account) are unable to delete their accounts.
b) Colonies deleting themselves to remove the taxation that conquerors receive from therem.
c) There's no real need to delete a colony due to the fact that most colonies delete after 8 days anyways, 16 if a supporter. There's no real issue with space on almost all worlds.

6) Alliance Ranking - Clicking on an alliance leader flag will bring up that alliance's position on the alliance scoreboard page.

Other than these changes, there are only some administrative-side small bugfixes and tweaks to mention. If you notice none of them, we have done our job! ;)

Second i have a question,
all new OPs built have protection, is it supposed to be like that. I don't really like it

There is a few bugs:
The first one is the Outpost that you newly built, they get an automatic 100 tick protection. (All worlds)

When your spy is on an emenys relic, If it gets iooned. The spy also dies. (E3)

Not all online members apperar on the allaince chat. (E1)

Still freezes sometimes on the refresh tick (All worlds)

I will write down the others when i gather up everything.

Outposts with 100 protection is obviously a joke, 1 tick of protection would be sufficient, 2 or 3 ticks would be alright too but I really do not more than that.

Alliance Chat is a great feature, there are some tweaks that need to be made... I would really love if coordinates can be hyperlinks in the chat like they are in the messages ingame.

Now to my main concern... removal of nukes as a way to kill workers. Why? What is the reason? Newb bashing? That is wrong, the metal oil and energy to launch a nuke far outweighs killing a few workers unless the player did something to really anger you. If a player does that now, what can I do?

Let's say an enemy alliance far away has a friend of theirs conquered near me, I can't force relocate him because he's not my conquer, I can't use units to kill his workers, I can't use nukes to kill his workers, I can't use spies either because a conquered colony like that probably has his spy on his base with tons of cheap protection.

What am I to do? BDTT discussed readding the killing of workers through attacks with units, and now we see an update move in the complete opposite direction that we agreed on, why was this done?

There is no more ability to siege in battledawn, no way to deal with a troublesome colony. No way to attack ANYTHING but units. If a player is active and conquered, he is now invincible. What a terrible... terrible idea.

I like it but i find some problems already with the chat.

1- It's hard to read because its a together and you can't tell which ones are differnt sentences or differnt posts. So like when one person posts it should be like white, then the next person, it could be like gray or green or yellow etc, then the next person posts and its white, you know easier to read.

2- The allaince leader should have some power over the chat, by being able to delete certain messages.

hehe kane one fo the big people behind the whole " the game needs more workers " idea ... now goes on about not being able to kill workers ?

nah just kidding i 100% agree with kane here

i didnt mind that units couldnt kill workers anymore and might be a better idea ... but nukes dont kill workers anymore is stupid . :( as he said there is nothing u can do to these pesky colonies anymore . admins i urge you please re think it and remove it . or even lower the workers lost to 8 % (?) i dno but seriously not a good move

another note .. we bug tester have been working a few leads and running around on these things awhile . for the most part everything looking good still a few nasty bugs like the 100 protection thing i hope its a bug ) which seems to only be on the first outpost you build and no more after that

also seth ive got a few good ideas for the chat if u are going to build on it if u like i could pm u my ideas :P

another thing i dont seem to be able to get from alliance chat into global chat when i am in an alliance ?

The chat is going to improved a lot over the next little while, we just wanted to get a functional chat going and we're going to be taking all your feedback on the chat to add in features and tweaks to make it everything you want it to be :). Please report any feedback in this thread about it or to the world admin of the world you play on.
