Guys.....sometimes these things happen....
What do you guys what them to do? make a consultation for all your worries?
Try not to do it next time and get the facts?
The way I see it, You can't handle these matters the Mods, Admins do....
Just tell them when something went wrong as soon as possible to avoid any confusion...

The amount of bans admins lay that get removed prematurely is below 1% - They have a pretty good success rate, how many of you don't make a mistake occasionally when you're at work?

They have a tough job to do, and they do it well - on the rare occasion that they slip up, the best thing to do is calmly send them a message - or if you want a really fast response, grab a moderator on the forum, on MSN or on Skype, and we'll do what we can to resolve the issue instantly.

Approaching the problem in a calm and rational way will get it resolved one way or another - yelling at it will not.

Well Joe have banned me a pair of times in the old client. He banned my for making multi accounts and then trading resources between them. Not only I had just 1 account but it haven't even traded any resources on the whole round. After 4 emails I got him to un-ban me. He was pretty sorry for it.

Still it cost me a few conquers and my army. I agree they should put a little more of care when banning people.

I know, the problem is that I didn't do it. Otherwise I wouldn't have gotten unbanned. I am still curious about what made joe think I did that...

lack of proper investigation before banning you... without knowing weather or not what you did anything wrong

you was just a maybe so you got banned to be safe witch is the problem if you look suspicious they should investigate before banning...

Guilty till proven innocent is how it looks

This is rediculous.

I dare one more person to post here. You want to see a corrupt admin passing out bans willy nilly?

Ill give it to ya!

Supporter or not, everyone gets the same treatment.

Most multi accounts are warned before they are banned. If this is not the case, you were either farming, or blatantly making multiple accounts without regards to the rules.

It is YOUR responsability to read the terms and conditions you agreed to when creating your account! Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse for breaking them.

And you know, there is always some guy who is going to wag his finger and claim that admins are corrupt.

It has been my experience that the guys who make the biggest public fuss are the ones who are the biggest rule breakers! And in this case, I am willing to bet this one is no different! What is more, you are all starting to piggy back this movement with the rule breaker! What does that say about you?

Blame joe? Dude, how many of you know how many hours Joe works every day at his day job? How many of you know how ill he was last month? How many of you know how ill his son was all year??!

How many of you big men out there know what the root word of 'assume' is?

Because you are all making that word out of yourselves by coming here and claiming that admins are corrupt! You dont even know how good you have it!
How many games do you know of where you have an admin that is attainable? How many games do you know of that have someone on-hand regulating the rules EVERY DAY, and that you can talk to without submitting a ticket and hoping for an eventual response?

Yeah, I get those guys who get banned and complain and complain and treat us like we dont know what we see!

I had one just today who had the same theme in his emails across 4 accounts (name@aol, name@gmail, etc etc) and he is spam emailing me with obscenities as we speak.

So ask yourself. How much do you know about the ban for the guy who started this thread?! Hmm. And how do you know it was an unjust ban?
And on that note, how the hell can you come in here on the back of that crap and wag your fingers too"??! What does that say about you?

I mean, I am willing to bet that everyone here who is making a big stink has broken the rules and been banned. OF COURSE everyone is going to claim they are innocent or whatever, but if it was the other way around and some guy was using multis to spam attack you, you would be the first to whine and moan that we weren't acting fast enough!

So STOW IT!

I am not going to stand for this, and I am warning you right now! TREAD LIGHTLY!

Am I claiming that admins are infallible? No. You cant blame old client cases on the admins, as the tools we had then were primitive and inaccurate. We just didnt have the power we have now to track what happens in an account, so you cant start bringiong crap a year old into this thread and call it corruption.

Admins can make mistakes, and I have made one or two, but it is usually because of a bug or an oversite out of my control, and Ill be the first to admit when it happens! AND I usually compensate for any losses incurred on my behalf.

If you are being ignored by an admin, there is only one explanation. YOU were a blatant cheater and the admin is not going to dignify your lack of respect for his abilities with a response. Just like that guy I mentioned earlier. He is going to claim every excuse in the book, coupled with various names and obscenities. I will ignore him until he fesses up and says "Hey, I am sorry I made multi accounts. I would like "X" account unbanned, leave the rest banned and I promise I wont do it again."

Next time you find yourself being ignored by an admin who multi-banned you. Try that before you want to come into this community and claim that the admins are stupid, incompetent and dont know what they are doing.

Greetings,

The ban was removed 24 minutes after this post was made. We advise that instead of making a huge fuss on the forums, you calmly approach the moderator in question and present the facts. I can also see the reason you are banned; and quite simply, jokes which may get you into trouble, by definition, might get you into trouble. In the same way I do not go into a police station and say, "I killed someone yesterday", and then expect to walk out.

I understand that this was a joke, but surely you could see how this could be taken by someone? Sarcasm and humour does not express itself well on the internet.

We do not punish people for opinions. We punish people for expressing their opinions in a vulgar or otherwise unpleasant way. I'm a reasonable man, as are the rest of the staff. Bring it to us politely, in future, if you have a problem.

As for our "Buisness ethic"... I refer you here. It's not often that a game has the company so close the community, and we work hard to maintain that.

Thanks alot,
St.Even - Battle Dawn Head Moderator
