I'm pretty sure it means what I said.

This should clear some things up

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_fort_hood_shooting_suspect

I feel really sorry for this guy. He was constantly picked on for his religion. I know this doesn't justify his actions but this really reminds me of a school shooting situation. A kid is severely picked on for the way he is or something he believes and is finally driven to act out on hate.

I see what you're getting at, but when you start adding religion to the equation, it becomes something more than just blind lashing out. It's not better or worse... just different somehow. It's sort of hard to articulate.

Not that possible. Its hard for me to justify what he did. I guess its my complete conservative stance on well.. everything. Nothing gives you and excuse to go out and murder any1. Ever.

Strictly speaking, war and capital punishment fall under the category of murder. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's never justified. This circumstance, yeah it's pretty hard to think of him sympathetically.

It seems like there would have been a lot of steps that come before murderous rampage if you're feeling picked on. An adult, especially a psychologist, should have more tools than a teenager in a trench coat.

Not to mention he was told he was getting deployed within the next month, and he told his cousins that was the thing he was most scared of.
He tried getting out of his contract even before it was up. (By hiring a lawyer and seeing if there was any way out)
