Why have they made it that way? There's no way to contact anyone in game on SM unless you both decide to go to the forums. I'm sure many people would like rematches with players they don't find in matchmaking, yet there's no way of finding out their number.

The immediate idea that pops into my head is a system that allows you to click a button to send a request after a match. If that person declines they are not added but if they accept you are on each other's list.
