That is what we found caused it before you have to do a full refresh or relog after it otherwise this can happen.

I just made lvl 27 and played a few matches with my new loadout, then after ten or so I upgraded my weapons and was tossed into the lvl 30 bracket....I did beat Opti one time at lvl 27 though, after I upgraded my wep's he was lvl 30 and looked different, and he didn't forget the payback! My opinion is upgrades can toss you into a higher lvl bracket, I am noob, but I think it is obvious. What I want to know is this lvl load out thing, is it different account's or can I have a few bot's on one account? Or is it just saved gear you you wear for low lvl fights?

Level 27 mechs will still be able to fight level 30 mechs since it is a range of +/- 3 so 27+3=30 and 27-3=24 so your effective matchmaking range can be between 24 and 30. You can have different level mechs by changing your gear you do not need to have more than one account and actually you should not have more than one account.

I am getting murdered at lvl 28, all I do is fight lvl 30's that have me outgeared...how do people get to lvl 30 with under 100 defeat's is a mystery to me! Norman is a big red beast, he just pulls me over smacks me around, I don't know how I will ever lvl up this way....
