So, I found this long time ago and contacted seth about it... But it's really annoying.
I decided one day to come back on BD/BG. I payed for some reds to get arid of the ads and help mah friends out. A couple of days later....
This happened....

(IMG wont work so here's the link)

>>> http://imgur.com/UhaJazP <<<

So then a day or so later I downloaded an ad blocker (As you can see there's a white square because I got an ad blocker and the screenshot was from a second ago.)

So finally I got mad, I used inspect element, and found these codes...

<div id="ap_header_2929" style="width: 728px; height: 90px; background-color: white; margin: 15px auto;"><div style="text-align: center; padding: 0px;"><div style="text-align:right;height:12px;font-size:10px;line-height:9px;margin:auto;width:730px;">Ads not by this Site</div></div></div>

(Those are for the ads as HTML code in order to get arid of them you have to delete the nodes)

Then I had to edit another to fix the scrolling bar and shapen down the bottom area that the ad was at:

<body bgcolor="#000000" topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0" bottommargin="0" style="padding-bottom: 100px; position: relative; height: 840px;"><div id="ap_header_2929" style="width: 728px; height: 90px; background-color: white; margin: 15px auto;"><div style="text-align: center; padding: 0px;"><div style="text-align:right;height:12px;font-size:10px;line-height:9px;margin:auto;width:730px;">Ads not by this Site</div></div></div><div id="_GPL_e6a00_parent_div" style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; z-index: 2147483647;"><object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" id="_GPL_e6a00_swf" data="http://cdncache-a.akamaihd.net/items/e6a00/storage.swf?r=1" width="1" height="1"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><param name="flashvars" value="logfn=_GPL.items.e6a00.log&amp;onload=_GPL.items.e6a00.onload&amp;onerror=_GPL.items.e6a00.onerror&amp;LSOName=gpl"></object></div>

</iframe>

(You have to set the px to 0 on hieght and bottom)

I really hope this gets fixed... I have been a supporter for a long time and this crap happens lol. If it doesn't get fixed it's okay, it just gets annoying that everytime I open BG (This only happens on BG) this happens.

Thanks,
Korovan

good morning :)

You should have said which browser you use, but I guess its firefox.
As you can read in the code, those ads are not by us.

(data="http://cdncache-a.akamaihd.net/items/e6a00/storage.swf?r=1" ....)

Please check on your Firefox extensions and disable them. For me, it looks like you use an extension like 'download and save' for youtube videos....

Many of those extension use ridiculous script ad-injections, have malware and other stuff you surely don't want to have on your PC.

Thank you,

Ilona

as far as i concern, the ads are not BD's since BD put ads below the game, not above the game.

can u give us full details, as to wat browser are u using, as well as the extensions / add-ons that u're using. Since I'm afraid that must be the cause for it.

I use google chrome, and I know the ads aren't by you I just used copy as HTML in inspect element. I wish there was an easier way to fix this lol.

I somehow knew it was a chrome seeing that u can edit HTML >.>

anyway, if u're using Google Chrome, open up the extension windows, by entering this to the address bar: chrome://extensions/

there, u'll see all of the extension that u have. One of them must be the reason.

If u know how to, disable / uninstall each of them until u see the problem is gone. So u'll disable the first one, go back to battlegalaxy, refresh or restart chrome if needed, if it's still there then go back and disable the second, and go on until the last one.

When u finally found the one that is the reason, u can enable / reinstall those u have disable / uninstall, except for the one that caused the problem of course.

A hint though, u might want to look at extensions that sounds strange, or not from a trusted or popular sources.

Of course, if u don't want to disable an extension that u use a lot, or u don't want to waste much time on this. U can always post it here and we'll try to help u out.
