Lets compromise.

A real date - you bring the happy, the winner brings the meal.

The forum lost activity long before my time here as community manager and no one else than the currently BD players can bring it back.

As I was a player, I came to the forum to see if my enemy wrote something about me and sometimes, I looked at it afraid, that they could have posted about my units that I lost :D

I don't want to say it was anyones fault that those players, who were here with their heart and soul left, but the system at that time was very different to what we have now.
I understand BD as a war game, and every war is a fail of diplomacy and a fight for opportunities and therefor it creates emotions. And this can and should be posted here! Emotions are what makes us play the game after all.
We as admins and moderators have to watch those topics and make sure that its within the rules but I am the last one who would over-moderate this.

And as only real emotions can create real topics and not spam - there is no need for any 4chan or other forum guys that don't have a clue what WE are talking about.

BD might be a small family.... but its still a family and I am proud to be part of it and knowing every member and what they are talking about.

This community has come back before, it has its spurts of activity and it always starts with an ambitious Forumer who decides to do something creative :)

It's had "spurts" but it never "came back". It can't go back. Compare it to Europe after the world war. While it occasionally looked alike - it never became the same because the past was the past and too much happened for it to ever feel and be the same other then temporary suspensions of disbelief.

Like Europe - the only way is forward. And the only way forward in a positive way, is by structurally building something completely new, something better.

Settle for anything less and it will not matter.

She means she has friends who told her they also visit 4chan.

Which basically means she has friends who think it's cool to pretend to be "in" on that.
