That "invisible" mech challenge isn't hard at all, if you know some basic hints.

Basically, "invisible" mech challenge contains the highest lvl mech you currently can battle.
For example, when you're half-way through your single player campaign and the highest lvl mech you can battle is (let's say) lvl42 mech, then lvl42 mech will be the mech in the "invisible" mech challenge.

Just collect IGC, build yourself a stronger mech and you'll easely beat it.
