I say let there be an option to reset a players rank. In doing so, all of the player's wins and losses will be wiped clean like they never happened. They still will be the same level they were before though.

It could cost credit or tokens to reset rank so players don't do it every time they lose....

this is misleading.. this should be called kdr reset... (kill death ratio)
also change it from maybe to tweak or else this poll will not count..

sweet:) Rank change makes me think of your rank changing as in restarting the whole game... so I was confused.. thanks for clearing that up.. but anyways.. I like this my kdr is really high but eh this would be cool and if it took reds would help people have more things to use reds on which means more money for supermechs which is good :)

it's not fair

because he would essentiually be starting anew with winished builds and working knowledge of the game, making it a matter of months to get a better KDR and loads of cash

what this game needs is a full account reset

I don't see harm in it.. if he was facing higher levels he'd still be facing people who knew what they were doing etc.. also I thought I made a post of a complete reset a while ago.. I'll make it now.. thought of that a very long time ago..

That was the point actually. If someone starts off bad when they first start playing, I want them the have the option to reset their KDR without resetting their own level. Because not every 1 wants to start back at square one.

I personally would not be using this reset option because I like to keep track of my total stats, but other players would love the ability to start their KDR over.

It gives them an inaccurate portrayal of their skills though. Everyone loses some in the beginning while learning, that is unavoidable but being able to completely erase it just gives them artificial stats as well as alters their rank on leaderboards. I would assume someone with 0 losses would be ranked higher.

All the SMC and mechs might be unfair, but that argument about now having the knowledge to gain to build better mechs is pointless. Anyone can just start from scratch by creating a new account, even Mike5Mike. That said, I think a full restart would a more judicious way of doing this. Otherwise, I would cap it like level 22 or something, so that noobs have a chance :P
