I have been thinking about two different bracket levels for a while now because I have been put in some battles against some low level Mechs.

I think Having one area for the players who have not reached level 20 like the way it is set up right now, but also have an area for levels 1 though 20+ can fight too. When new players do reach level 20 they still will able to play at lower levels, but they won't be able to play with the new players just staring out the game because they will now be known as old players.

Level 1-20 new players

Level 1-20+ old players

That way when a player reaches level 20, they wont be completely destroyed by players who have been around level 20 for a while. I know I made the mistake of not saving up on credits, and as a result keep getting beat left and right because my Mechs body was at a low level. At least this way, it will still give the new players that just reached level 20 a fighting chance.

Also, I am sure they will stick around much longer if they don't die almost every battle as soon as they reach level 20.

Hopefully, I have made this a clear enough point of what I am trying to say here.

Make it more simpler, but I get what you mean.
My idea

real level 10 - 15 can vs 10+ matchmaking level

real level 15 - 30 can vs 15+ matchmaking level

real level 31+ can vs 20+ matchmaking level

For the record, I do not think this is a good idea. Will post an alternative idea shortly. Mechzilla

A way to simplify what I am saying.

Lets call new players group "A" and old players group "B".

Group A can only play with other group "A" players. which is level range 1-10 and 10-20.

Group B can only play with other group "B" players. The level range will be from 1 to .

Now lets say 1 player from group A is level 10 and another player from group B is also level 10. They are both looking for a match at the same time, but they won't be matched together. Because group "A" can not play with group "B".

A+A= Battle

B+B= Battle

A+B or B+A= No Battle

Good idea actually, although I think it should be a number of battles which separates these two groups of players, am I right?

How many battles do you think it would take to keep these two groups apart? I used the level system because that is what it is based on at the moment.

Also, don't forget premium players. They wont have that many battles under their belt, but they will have better gear after fewer battles.
