It's fine for friends or family to play from the same internet connection just make sure to send the admin a heads up about it so that they are aware of the situation. Remember that only the owner of an account can log into it so no sharing with each other, regardless of the circumstances. Also if you are on the same connection don't conquer each other and don't use one of the accounts simply to feed the other. That's about the only extra rules in place when it comes to having multiple people playing from the same spot. If you ever have any specific questions about a situation then by all means message the admin colony for the world in question or ask on the forums to get an answer from an admin .

The rules are simple.
DO NOT share accounts PERIOD. You and ONLY you can log into your account. Logging someone elses account will get you banned.
DO NOT conquer eachother or farm the colony. this will also get you banned. It nis expressly forbidden to have a friend come over just to create a colony for you to conquer.

Why would you and your friend attack each other from one persons house? First it shows the other person what your doing and second they can just get on right after you to defend... There should be no time like that ever. But I do not know the exact answer to that question!
