I never quit even when I know I am likely or for sure going to lose. I have said this in a number of threads why quit do what you can then tinker some with your ride and see if you can win one.

This is the primary reason I think resists should be limited at two types being able to be equiped on the mech. Every build should have one hole to be exploited by the enemy. Otherwise it is just who pays the most money and uses all rare equipment.

Also I started a thread a while ago that if you have oppenets out there you wish to tip your hat too, you could list them there for all to see.

About quits, if someone doesn't quit, he still can get credits and xp. But if he quits he won't get anything. not a single credit or xp. And it also is recorded as a loss, so quitting doesn't make sense. If you're sure that your opponent will defeat you and you want this to end, just make it easier for the opponent. And he will finish you off. Quitting is for someone who HAS TO quit, not for someone who doesn't want to play a losing battle. Know that well, and spread it when you can...
