Seth, maybe to account for all of the mass boosts, and the fact that alot of non-boosters are using their metal for squads, and not getting as much worker income, perhaps sound out a few workers with every boost. It doesn't have to be a whole lot, but like 20 or something. Just to kind of help with unit building. It doesn't affect me as I'm boosting all 3 workers boosts every chance I can, but not all of the players are doing so. Just a humble suggestion.

yea i think so far there has been 2-3 boosts by admin

and like apollo suggested it would be nice to send out a few every boost ~20 or so

They've already given out a lot more workers than they usually do, so that is something at least.

So far admins have given out 125 workers so far.
The boost bar thing may be a good suggestion

But accounting that 125 workers have been given out over 4 occasions
Tick 28 (50 workers), 72 (25 workers) 113 (25 workers) 123 (25 workers)

But mass boosts have happened at each of the following ticks
1 2 4 15 25 27 28 34 49 52 58 71 72 76 84 96 101 109 122
And after the 7th mass boost the remaining 11 have all been 6k metal and oil to everyone.

Over all to make up for it maybe a frequent worker give out for 100 ticks then do the mass boost bar set off for like 15-25 workers everytime it goes off. Maybe give out workers depending on how quickly it goes off.

im at 331 workers, havent boosted any and all i do is build units, no worker problem for me :p
