Halo=The most overrated game ever
What happened to the good ol' FPS's like Half Life 1 and 2 and Doom 3, now everything is Halo and Gears of War and CoD.
I can't start a discussion about video games without someone immediately talking about Halo at school. I mean, come on, single player is okay and multiplayer is pretty good but there are much better games to be played, especially on the PC.
I am not saying Halo is bad, it is a good game, but it is way over hyped.

You didn't mention Quake 3. :'( IMO that was and still is one of the best FPS's ever made, but that's for another topic.
I agree that Halo is overrated massively, but it does have a good single player. I just wouldn't say it's one of the best games ever, like many xbots say it is.

I actually like the multiplayer its very fun at parties but yea it is kinda overhyped

i really like it although i agree that it and gow and cod (i dont like gow or cod nearly as much) because at school people who never played games before now its all they talk about and the reason no one talks about those other games is because the multiplayer isn't as good or simple as the others but i am now mostly playing resistance 2

But I can't wait for MAG, 248 players online.

What ever happend to the good old games like the FIRST perfect dark (N64)
C&C renegade was fun in its time aswell
Today I like the CoD cames dont own them dont obses over them but like them (Nazi Zombies+friends = good times)
Halo is overhyoed 1 ws fun and new 2 was improved (in some aspects) but by 3 its sorta repatition and I lost alot my interest, not saying its bad just didnt like it as much

Yeah.
CoD 4 is one of my favorite games, I would buy CoD 5 if the map packs were free, the reason being that I only liked the zombie mode more than CoD 4 but I would have to pay $30 for the other 3 zombie maps.
Golden Eye was the first real console FPS, and it was fantastic. Perfect Dark was basically the same and very good.
