So like. Anyone can give me a proper explanation of how they work?

To make a dragon you need to have factory lvl 5 (?) so you can create one.
After that you need to use a oupost with 24 or more ticks and create the dragon place. And pay again to create the dragon itself.

Thats simple to understand.

Now talking about the dragon itself. I heard when you attack someone with a dragon, they kill 10% of the units, 10% of the workers and let the rest of units with 1 Hp right?

Ok now lets start:

Considering the dragon is the same as a silo, should I take that it disappears after using/attacking once?

Isn't it a bit broken? Seriously.... its too much damage for one single round (mainly if your defence is based on Heavy Units). One Dragon and ranged units would literally clean any person defense.
Should I take that there is a way to stop a Dragon besides conquer the Dragon Lair itself? Which One?

If not, should I save money and only recruit units for defences before an attack? Accumulating a strong defense seems pointless in that conditions.

Well, the lair will stay there, but you will have to make a new dragon which take 24 ticks.

there is a way to destroy dragons. on earth/mars it's called ion cannon on fantasy Fire Storm.

it's radar level 5 structure, and it cost 200 energy/mana to destroy a dragon.

but the reason a dragon is kinda powerful is that they are kinda hard to make, especially from scratch.

first a op which cost allot, then wait 24 ticks, then make a dragon take another 24 ticks, and the minimum ETA for a dragon is ETA 6, which in theory mean you have at least 54 ticks to get rid of it.

oh and dragons got 1 tick blast range for units leaving the outpost/colony, which will make the units leaving hp 1

hope this help

What if an enemy is attacking an outpost and you are wanting to hit them with a dragon when they land? Which tick should your dragon land on?

A) 1 tick early
B) Same tick
c) 1 tick late

Thanks

Well, the dragon attack damages units on site, and units which left 1 tick before the dragon landed.
Hence, you can make the dragon land
1) on the same tick
2) one tick after the troops leave

don't forget the radiation and downgrading OPs...

but playing against nukes is easy, just need to follow this:

1. don't allow any nuke, especially hostile, in 24 ticks around ur colony
2. move ur squads away from an incoming nuke

now u only have to worry about downgrading Ops, which u can always re-upgrade it
