I like most of the new updates. However, I believe that lowering the amount of tokens received per vote is a bad idea. It isn't fair to players who don't boost reds. It will cause even more of a gap between the powerful red boosting players and the average players like me. It won't really be as fun.

I agree, taking away those blue tokens that are boosted will significantly change the battlefield by giving much more power to the boosters. Therefore, that gap will cause the game to be much more unfair and encourage less people that dont necessarily boost to play...

Rest assured that we are not greedy. Heck, I am wondering how I am going to get feed my kids and dogs until next payday because quite honestly, it is that tight for at least ME right now. I love what I do though, and cannot imagine doing anything else. I dont really care if I am underpaid as long as BattleDawn survives and thrives.

So, there it is. We have peaks and valleys like anyone else, and right now is not a peak time by any stretch. We are not in huge trouble just yet, but unless you all can come together and see to it that you can be patient and understand our needs as well as your own, then...well...

I'm mainly a non-booster and I don't feel that this benefit boosters that much

the votes offer blue, first is to award players who vote and spread the news about Battle Dawn in the way of bringing it to the top positions in such ranking sites.

however, let's be straight here, how many times have you done the whole voting process, including entering the captcha and such? I know I haven't done that for at least a year but I still get 50 blue a day, how does that seem fair.

And the voting sites being taken out is becuz they repeated themselves several times, and some of the voting sites died out, so it's common sense to remove it, not to keep the link to a dead site.

U missed the point of voting, it's not to take free blue, it's to make BD more well-known hence bring more ppl to the game.

If you still want to get the same amount of token for voting, I suggest BD to make it so that you can only get blue when you have done all the voting procedures, after you have really voted for BD, not after u click the link and close it down without even let the site load.

My Views( Kool Changes)

No Game can run a single day without Funds:)

Funds come from Battle Dawn Supporters & as much player support battle dawn...the game become more intresting & updated new stuff .

Everything need money guys so u have to happy about this:)

Just my opinion
:)

Thanks
Hunt

At least someone gets it. The way things are going, it seems sometimes that people care more about blue tokens then playing the game. Because, quite simply, if we cannot fund this whole operation, it completely ceases to exist.

Look around at the free to play game models everywhere else. Find me one that nerfs supporters as much as we do? Each and every time we reward them, everyone else gets all crazy on us for it.

We are not trying to "edge non boosters" out of the game. We are simply trying to keep things going. The other alternative is to make the game a subsription only game.

At the end of the day, if our choices are a game that is horribly biased towards paying members, or a game that is ONLY available for paying members - then fine, we have to just shut up and deal with whatever conditions you guys set for the game. Of course we would rather play than not play. But are we really that close to that scenario? Has the game become that costly to run? You must understand, from the ordinary player's perspective, we don;t really have access to the BD financial books, we cannot see how much money goes in and where it goes to after that. If the game is on the verge of bankruptcy - then fine, give the boosters as many advantages as you need to in order to keep the money flowing. But, if the game is doing just fine and it's only a matter of certain people wanting more profit at the expense of the non-boosters feeling like they have a chance in the game...?

We are discussing this now measures will be taken to prevent abuse of this system.

Sometimes, we do not get a choice. The vote sites take the shortcuts, and we are at a loss to verify on their end. The sad thing is that so many do this, and then get so angry at us when we remove the sites because it was being abused in such a way.

Well, that answers my question.

Maybe BD should just be more open about these things, and people would complain a lot less. Please understand - we love this game. Some of us live for this game (oh, and our kids...I guess).

You know, when I was in college in Boston, there was this ice cream store that made a mistake on their taxes. They owed the government a significant amount of money, and were going to go out of business. They announced to the community that they were in trouble, and their loyal customers brought in so much business that summer that they were able to pay off their bill and stay open.

Like I said...the average player has no idea how much money goes into BD, and where it goes after that. Many believe that the people who run the game are living on yachts in the Caribbean while we fund their late night parties buying red tokens for a video game. Perhaps a little openness about the financial situation would do more good than harm. People might rise up to support the game if they knew it was in trouble.

I don't think the voting update is becuz of their financial problems though. It's just a way of stopping the voting abuse that I don't think it's not well-known.

giving out free red on the first boost is, u can see it as a promotional program. Just like how newly created account get free 100 blue, u'll get free 200 red when u first boost.

And I understand that Seth, it's the same thing that happen to some, if not most, of the survey system. That's why I prefer the blue I get from the vote to be cut down, rather than having a chance to get nothing becuz of verifying issue like the survey.
