Wars are based off who makes the most mistakes and it is much easier to make a mistake on a fast world than on a one tick world. On three tickers you are caught off guard much more easily and sleeping even 5 hours can be the end of you. One tickers allow for peaceful sleeps, major planning, and better coordination with teammates, thus leading to a more challenging and a longer war.

One tickers are definitely superior.
