On the 20th of August my banking records show that $45 was taken out of my account from battle dawn via paypal. I never authorized the purchase of these tokens on August 20th nor did I receive the tokens.

When I do purchase tokens I always receive emails. I never received any emails from token admin regarding Aug 20th's mishap. Now I would like to know how may other times BD has stolen money from me.

Looking at my account records, multiple times monies have been taken from my account on the same day. I don't make token purchases 3 times a day. Once would be fishy, but the amount that my records show is staggering.

I need a swift response and I'd like my money back ASAP!

A law suit will be filed if not corrected. I have documented my records and will be contacting my lawyer today.

Hi. We do NOT do reoccuring billing, and PayPal does not allow billing without consent of the customer. This means that in order to make purchases, you had to be logged into your accounts on both BattleDawn and PayPal in order to make the purchase.

You can file a claim through PayPal if you like, and have them check everything out. If the transactions were made, there should be all kinds of details they can see, since it is a secure and encrypted connection to your computer, they would be able to see (hopefully) that it was either done from your computer, or someone elses.

I can look also, and see which colonies the tokens were delivered to, all I require is that you send me the Transaction ID number(s) for all transactions in question here. Please do NOT post them here, rather send them to me via email :
[email protected] and I will take a look and ban whatever accounts need to be banned. After that, you would have to take up any other issues with PayPal, since they are the ones who actually handle the billing process, as we do not have the resources. If they made a mistake in authorization procedures, it is up to them to fix it. I will cooperate fully with any investigation they launch on the matter, and do my best to get to the bottom of what is going on.

As for saying that we somehow stole from you, well that is simply impossible. The way our transactions are done through PayPal is on a 'per transaction' basis, with no future billing. We do not steal from people, and even in the off chance that you found someone who wanted to do such a thing, they have to CLEARLY state in their billing description that the transaction is on a "reoccuring subscription" basis, which we do not ask you to agree to.

I will look for your email.

First thanks for the quick response. Secondly when it says that Battle Dawn has taken money from my account without my permission and there is no record in PayPal surely raises an eyebrow.

In PayPal there is no transaction ID. It was taken out of my banking account on the 20th of August. When I looked at my transaction history in PayPal it shows no record of the transaction. Yet the monies were taking out of my account.

How is that possible?

and furthermore on the 16th of August I made an $18 token purchase. $45 were taken out the following day.

That transaction is being disputed and I'm sure I will continue to find more.

Sorry mate, but thats not possible. We do not see any of your payment information, PayPal takes care of that. All we ever see is "transaction successful", and our servers automatically award tokens. We do not collect any bank, credit card or personal information in that process, therefore we would not be able to access any of the information you mentioned.

If you have such a charge on your bank statement, you need to contact your bank immediately, and have them reverse that charge!

Mate, I just checked your dispute through PayPal, and found that the 45$ charge you mentioned was not only authorized, but the tokens were received to your account

05:36:45 Aug 17, 2012 PDT

This transaction was successful with tokens delivered to your account, and if you attempt to reverse this charge, I will be forced to ban you.

Perhaps it was a different one which was not delivered? I fear you have made an error here, as this is the same as any other transaction, and DOES have a cooresponding transaction ID number.

i now see that it was an error on my part. sorry for the confusion but thanks for clearing it up. PayPal just sent me a email saying that have rewarded me the refund. However after looking at the account records and my the tokens I've received I see that this will result in me being banned. which I do not want to have happen.

So there will be $45 in my PayPal account in 5 days (according to PayPal). How do I go about giving that back to BD?

Purchase the $45 token package again and donate it back to BD? Is there a way to verify that ALL of the $45 was used for the donation in order for me not to get banned?

again I will not have the funds for another 5 days. and I do not want to get banned over this. I mean it was my fault for acting before doing my homework on the matter but I'd rather work this out through giving it back to BD rather than being banned.

what are my options? contact PayPal and tell them to resend you the monies? let me know how to proceed

thanks and sorry, I'm not in the business of scamming or stealing.

Chris

Hi Mate. I will work with you to help you avoid a ban, but we gotta be pretty prompt with it. I have had people try to take advantage of my good faith before  , and I simply can't risk it again. You have been a valued customer though, so I will extend a courtesy and allow you to go ahead and repair the issue amicably.

Simply send the payment to [email protected] via paypal, and email me at that address as well to let me know when you have done so, so I can verify it.

Thanks Chris, I appreciate you making the initiative to take care of this, and not making me come looking for you!
