Can someone clarify op farming to me? This is happening on fantasy 5: So I message the admin: They raze a few and turn some into nukes right by our hive: So from the message I'm to assume that it's ok for me to get a friend from another world to build me ops as many as I like so I can take them for my personal use as long as I don't raze them.... I might not get resources/workers from razing them but it also means I don't have to build anything. I thought the admin would ban achmed and get rid of all his 60+ ops he's built...

Well in the event of having a ally place an outpost for you to use and turn into a silo, that is not Op farming, that is more of a gray area. If the ops are razed ( Andrew will keep an eye on them) then that will be op farming but as of right now they have not committed any rule breakery.
Oh, and just to clarify by gray area I mean some admins will allow it and some will not. It's just one of those things where we have no specific policy. For example Seth would handle things a bit differently.

Is Dylan in a good alliance, maybe rank 1 or 2? Because if he is I would like to live vicariously through him.
Thank you.

Just seems strange that you can do everything which points to op farming and if you want to avoid a ban just don't raze them.
I think if that's allowed I'll ask a friend to spam 50 ops upgrade em to a silo arm them then I'll procede to take them.
If they're allowed to do that then they'll never need to build an op again....
Shouldn't there be a firm set of rules that all the admins follow?

"A penny saved is a penny earned."
By that logic they are farming and it is unfair, especially if they do it on a regular basis.

I believe that "gray area" should also be put in "ban area", even if it's not used to raze, they are getting free OPs without spending much resources (and more important, workers).

So this is not OP farming, mine on E1 was. Same admin. Any chance the guy who was taking these is a donator or something? -.-

"Achmed" is crying out alt account.

like Jake said, this is a gray area, which mean it's different with the admins' perspective. Admins who think this is cheating will ban them while the others won't.
Though I believe this is cheating and should be banned...

Well, the op's here were razed as well by Dylan but it wasn't considered farming. and when i approached Andrew, his reply was "I've been monitoring the accounts there carefully, it's clean. Sorry I cannot go into details as it would be giving too much information as to the player's actions/plans." -Andrew Well, guess i learn't somethin new to implement next time.. as Andrew probably views this as Fair Game
