Quote: What? Time remains constant and never slows down or speeds up. Time as we are used to, is valid only on Earth. You cant measure days the same way you measure on Earth, on another planet, or on another place in the universe. I believe its measured in Sols (Solar hours in our solar system). Not sure. But, since rotation time of every planet is not the same as earth's, a clock on that planet, for example Pluto like I said before, would not measure time the same way a clock on earth would Secondly, what Hal Said. Its called Time dilation. Now Ive pretty much forgotten all the physics I learnt in high school, but I believe its some sort of difference in time perceived when you are moving relative to another body etc etc., Just look it up for more details.

If atheism is a religion, not playing sport is a form of sport. Not collecting stamps is my favourite hobby No ice cream is my favourite food. Explain what the criteria for being a religion is and explain how atheism fits that criteria. As for time http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_dilationThe closer you are to the speed of light, the slower time flows relatively speaking. Also gravity and space play an important part, not just relative velocity. Leads to the fun mind eff. There was no before the big bang as there was no volume before the big bang, only the singularity. With no volume there was no space, only a point (singularity), with no space there is no time.

Religion is an ideology. Christianity, Judaism, Islam are ideologies that lay down certain rules, regulations that people that adhere to those ideologies follow. Atheism is simply a disbelief in the principle of a higher power. It does not lay down rules and regulations...for example like the ten commandments. As for time, I meant time is a frame of reference, since time is used to measure something. What we measure as hours, minutes, seconds, days, years are valid only on our planet. In another place, lets say Pluto, that takes 250 Earth years to revolve around the sun, the concept of year, days, minutes, seconds, hours etc would be different.

I disagree. Time isn't a unit of measurement, we measure time.
