Revamp nothing. TSA needs to be done away with completely. Let the airports privatize their own security, as it was always done. The TSA has stopped nothing. They have done nothing to prove that we need them. Quite the contrary, and quite obviously.
I personally am not scared of invisible boogey men in caves enough to submit to such things. I mean, it was not us that failed on the morning of 9/11. We did not let those attacks happen. Why should we have to keep suffering at the hands of an impotent and overbearing organization such as the TSA? Was it you and I that had anything to do with the foreign policy issues that pissed these alleged "terrorists" off in the first place?
It seems to me that 9/11 is now used as an excuse for you to submit to more unlawful search & seizure, and to come to see it as "just the way it is" as opposed to the violation of your constitutional rights that it actually is. Every day that they get away with things like this, they get more bold. And month after month, horror stories like this keep coming out.
I mean look. I just did a Bing search for "TSA News". Look at these results:TodayYesterdayYesterday2 days ago2 days agoand on and on it goes...
Tell me, if this is what it means to be "safe", is it really worth it?

LOLTSA.
Random Screenings, patdowns etc...
Yet they only use bomb dogs AFTER the suspect has actually shown to have materials that could make a bomb.
If you really want good airport security, why not use the bomb dogs BEFORE the suspect gets on the plane? Herpderp. All I have to say.

Another reason for me to never go on a plane.
But, I would just like to point out that since their creation/re-invention (I have no idea if they were around before 9/11) there haven't been any terrorist attacks in the U.S., that I know of.
There may have been one or two "security" alerts or some crap and then there was that whole scare on the tenth anniversary and all that, but... it's been safe for the most part.
Although, that may not even be a result of TSA. CIA may have just stepped up their game. Or terrorists may just be taking a break, plotting their next major attack, which would not surprise me. 9/11 attacks, I was told, had an extensive amount of planning put into them.
