So, uh with this new update, i like most things about it, but when the Radiation is activated, will any troops be able to leave the outposts/colonies?
Coz if they can leave, it won't be very effective
To counter this, i suggest 2 things
1. The Radiation is transported WITH the troops, to their next destination, and lasts for x ticks there (While moving damage is/isn't inflicted)
2.Troops cannot leave while radiation is active
Frankly, i prefer the first option, it may be harder, but its more realistic, and MUCH more effective...
If anyone agrees, i'll put it up in the suggestions bar (Or someone could do it for me)

The radiation is not working like a lock down and can't get transported.
When a colony got nuked, it looks like this

and the green counter shows how many ticks of radiation are left.
When a nuke hits an OP it kills 10% as ususal and damage all units (HP1). When you arrive with your squads on this OP, your squads will lose every tick 1 HP as long as the radiation last.

yes but what if after the nuke hits, someone just moves their army away from the outpost until the radiation goes? it would just be a waste of time making radiation...
This way, either sqauds couldn't move until the Radiation is gone (AKA Quarintine) OR id sqauds do go, they carry the radiation with them (and when it hits its target, the radiation starts again
With the first option, how about we make it that there is only a 50% chance of carrying the radiaion in ur sqauds (Btw, while in transit, it stays hidden and uneffective, so until the troops hit their target destination, it doesn't damage anything (AKA it stays dormant)
I beleive this would make it more realistic, because u would either Quarintine something with Radiation, or move ur army... Seriously

Why don't you wait till the update is in game before you starts tweaking it :lol:
Radiation is not a 'waste' anyway. I still think you don't get the point that it is only an addition for nukes.

i know that, but nukes aren't very effective, and neither is this radiation!
Besides, if the update is updated before its implemented, it saves u ugys time and resources taking it out and then updating it and putting it back in!

No, I'll say no to the lockdown as well as tranfering radiation. Locking it down would take away the use of the agents. And both suggestions will make it hard to send the troops to somewhere else, running away perhaps, making the nukes too overpowered.

Nukes are powerful if u know how to use them right.

dude, in real life, there is NO escaping nukes, how can u make them too poweful? this ay, they would be more effective, and people wouldn't be able to get away so easily scott-free, as i said, there is only a x% chance of the radiation spreading with the retreating troops, say, 20%? How is that overpowering them?

I agree to Aister and I don't see any point in overpowering nukes.
The game needs to stay balanced and not as realistic as possible
