umm okay so I know how power goes :
+1 for each conquer
+1 for each 25 citizens
+1 for 10 soldiers
+2 for 10 (the next one)
+3 for 10 (the last)

and I know that power gives score, and thus higher rank...

well I'm in danger of being kicked out of my alliance, but then I noticed sth weird:

I have 9 couqnuers, 330 citizens, 26 inf, 22 vehicals but it says my power is 21... (it should be 9 + 13 + 2 + 4 = 28)

i have a picture for proof... any help ?? any reason why it isn't working..

Conqers do not count for power any more, bud. And with 22 vehs and 26 inf, that equals out to 68 soldiers. with 330 workers, that's 13 or 14 power. So your power level is right on the dot mate.

You no longer get power from conquers, that's what is missing :)

9 conquers = 0 power
330 workers = 14 power
26 inf + 22 vehicles = 26 soldiers + 44 soldiers = 70 soldiers = 7 power

So in my calculation, you would have 21 power.

Hope that helps :)

Edit: Matt, learn to calculate ;)

question on units:

I've been told to concentrate on only building armour squads near end of era for quick push up rankings......

that would be solely because that's the cheapest build?

correct, at the end of era when all wars are done, u would want to make all armor units. But it's not recommended if u still have enemies that will attack you, or start to build armor units too soon.

Doing pure armor units will make the worker loss through recruiting and worker gained through farm structures unbalanced... Ur worker count will just go down significantly, making ur income dropped, hence make ur power gain slowed down compare to doing the normal build.

So yeah, ur choice, if u see ur worker count is big enough to take the risk, then do it.

Btw, plz make another thread if wat u're asking is not related to the original topic.
