Respect.... which player and/or ally will have your deepest respect.. Is it the ally who wins the era? Well, that's possible, but not necessarily. They can win because they boost LOTS of reds, snipes like hell, saying "that's our style". Together with a little bit of activity, they can win the era. Why? Because every ally wants to secure their position. Especially when they are rank 3 or 2. Again.. why? Because of those few blue tokens they get when they end 2nd or 3rd. For them GAMEPLAY is less important than those few blue tokens. They don't want to take risks... Strange... because most members in these allies are willing to spend money buying red tokens.. Why need the blue ones anyway in that case. Ok... its nice... but playing the game and taking risks is more exciting. Having this conviction, you can even team up with other strong alliances to attack the nr 1 ally. So much more fun than these 500 or 1000 blue tokens, and at the end you even have a chance to win. Maybe some players do want some action, but don't want to risk losing because of the inactivity of other players in their ally. Having inactive players in a top alliance is a prove of bad leadership. Friendship prevails over results (Jenny in UNO, doesn't matter and count in WHO, Mysteries Norwegian in GP). A horrible idea because it will prevent the ally to climb in rank. Players in that ally who deperately want to end as the nr. 1 ally, will always be disappointed, because of the dishonesty of their leader.

So activity is the key to success, and additional red boosting is to secure it. To secure it even more, a certain "style" of playing is practiced too. Do these players deserve your or mine respect? Of course not... I've won era's on Galaxy where members of my alliance were admired for their fair play and activity. And that's the way you should win era's!!!!

Now take a look at this link to see which players were most active this era:
http://oi43.tinypic.com/bf2vpt.jpg

Did they deserve my respect? Not all of them. Arwen, the winner, was known this era as a sniper. She was not the only one in UNO. Most of them did it, jamming gates. Its their "style". A nasty way of playing. Everything is allowed? When "everything is allowed" is generally accepted, then it's true. Learn to live with it, or choose another game. But sniping and jamming isn't generally accepted and it should be banned. Because of this an increasing number of players don't know the meaning anymore of fair play.

So in my opinion there are no true winners this era. UNO won, but did it in a nasty way. WHO was too afraid to lose their rank, and so was GP. They spoiled the era. In fact WHO didn't do anything but taking wreckages, outposts and neutral conquers.
GP ended third only because they backstabbed a lot of allied alliances. That rat Alawe000 stole chrystals from allied players because he wanted to end in the top 5. He also backstabbed me, but thats a different story which I gladly would like to tell you if you're interested. Alawe000 will always be stigmatized by me. He doesn't deserve my respect, or from anyone else. He is new on my deathlist and leading the list behind notorious players like NelJems, BlackKnight and Melkor (of course, there are more on my list).

Players who won my respect are The Coolest because he had the fighting spirit needed to make a fist against UNO. Players who always have my respect are Ping and Pong, although they lacked fighting spirit this era.

Also some players in UNO are considered being great players. But they didn't impress me at all. If they are really great players, they also should agree that their performance was louzy this era (but so was mine). Only Arwen and Die had more than 100 conquers. How often did I have 160+ conquers on Galaxy worlds, with 140 wreckages, and 450+ outposts. Thats true activity... and in a decent way.. This era I started at tick 206, and twice in a wrong ally. You didn't see me at my best.. Well I guess I had the biggest mouth of all. I offended players (well only UNO), just to provoke them, and because they annoyed me with their sniping. Some players kept their dignity.. For these players in UNO.... I do have respect... Because I know its not easy to keep your mouth shut when you're offended. For all of you in UNO who felt offended by me, I apologize..

When I decide to play next era... it will be different. Thats a promise...

QQ is whining... QQer is whiner..

no matter how dirty the trick they use, u failed to see it or u failed to counter it. And u lose. Get over it.

This is war, my friend, everything is acceptable. Betrayal, sub abusing, heavy boosting, ganging up,... those are wat make war and BD beautiful.

benny I would like to quote Ilona here "Everything is fair in Love and War except Account Sharing..."

Now from what I hear "who" and "GP" were UNO's enemies and not allies... they decided to get free blues rather than fight it out with UNO although the whole era all they build was explosive light vehicles against UNO's mechs...

So if UNO managed / sniped conquers wrecks instead of whining you should have battled it out... that would have been more fair play... If you decided to end up donating your relics to winners and then whine it here, it only means you lack the courage...

Lastly no. of conquers and wrecks and outposts captured don't mean anything if you can't put it to good use... capturing 100's of outposts to raze at the price of building a good network and using it during battles and "conquers, crystals, relics" etc. is not worth taking into account... meaning the statistics are useless...

UNO was marked friendly... I like allies with guts, who are willing to take risks. Settle for free blues is not an option for me. If I need tokens to make a good start next era, I'll buy them. Conquering whole allies is the best part of this game. If it won't happen, the era is boring. This is not only my opinion, but many, many players think like that (just look at the bc's of ppl complaining the era is BORING). Nobody wants an era to be boring.

Well, you obviously didn't follow me :D I battled it out... And I partially agree with you: donating your relics to winners only means you lack of courage, even without "whining" about it. btw... next time use the word OPPOSE, or COMPLAIN instead of WHINE.

You totally missed my point here. I'm not talking about putting it in good use. That's so obvious that I don't even talk about it. I only wanted to show the ACTIVITY of players. In every era, EVERY ally is looking for ACTIVE players. Everyone will say they will be active in order to get a spot in a top alliance. Who needs inactive players.. But which players proved to be really active? I mean, not on allychat, Skype, or Alliance chat, but in game. You can find it in the stats... These are players you like to play with again next era (well, if they play fair like Ping and Pong... not Arwen). If you think that - for this reason - the stats are useless, then you're not of this world

First of all don't call it "whining". Use the word "oppose", or "complain". Whining sounds nasty. In your world there are "whiners" and ppl you agree with. Nothing else. If I don't agree with you, I'm a whiner. Its a polarizing point of view.
Now... I reread my post, and couldn't find me complaining I lost. My army was trapped yeah (but they didn't get the XP  ). UNO played it smart. Smarter than me. I accept that without complaining. The thing I reject is the lack of fighting spirit of GP and especially WHO, and the way UNO played. You can't say UNO won glorious. Playing fair without the dirty tricks will get you more respect from players. And I like to be respected, like most ppl.

Well, thats an interesting point of view.. You must be one of UNO's guys.. What's your name this era?

sr but I'm not playing in any era atm.

however, I've played enough not to whine (or complain or oppose) to dirty tricks. I hate them, but I don't complain when it happens.

It's their game, it's their decision, it's their choice to play however they want within the rules. U have lost, and u have failed to prevent it to happen, that's ur fault.

Well, thats why ppl are so beautiful.. Everyone is different. I do oppose because I'm an optimist, knowing that addressing bad behaviour, can change that behaviour. And I don't know such a strong emotion as hate... Its a game, nothing more... But their behaviour is not my behaviour. I detest it (and that's not an emotion but a strong opinion), and therefore I will never play with guys behaving like that. Birds of a feather flock together..

if everyone play the game fair and square, and care about respect over winning the game, there will be no cheaters for admins to worry about days and nights.

and no, ppl have been complaining about sub abusing, backstabbing, heavy boosting since years ago. And it still happens. Complaining won't solve anything, as long as they see it profitable and efficient, they will still do it.
