You guys dont get it. Tokens ARE the lifeline for BD. It is what pays for server costs. It is what pays admin salaries. Token spending should be encouraged. That is how BD will grow. And only when it does will we be able to enjoy the game.

Simply saying it's a stupid rule doesn't make any sense either!!
It's called token farming for a reason..
Like normal farming, you can logically say that it isn't cheating because someone actually put a colony for you to conquer, but it's unfair and its not playing the game like it should!!!

So follow the rules, and play the game how it should be played. (w/o cheating)

If you read my previous posts, you would know that I am not simply calling it a stupid rule. If this game is supposed to be played in anyway, then it should be played as a TEAM game. Within a team you should be able to share resources, send tokens freely. If a guy loses his army then a good team should be able to get him built back up as fast as possible. This is NOT "token farming" or cheating by any means. Thinking that this rule will bring balance to the game is a misunderstanding on your part. You should understand that when someone uses your boost, you cant boost yourself till the cooldown is over. In a good team, rarely does one person alone boost. Therefore, this so called "token farming" is not as rampant as you think it is.

Therefore all this hue and cry over how unfair it is for non boosters, is simply because of a vested interest that people that cant boost have if this rule is enforced. So they can have it easy. But if enforced, this will only see BD suffer a huge income drop.

And Ninja, your suggestions will reduce token spending. Resources are what people need to do well ingame. If I am paying 2000 dollars, why will I just accept bonuses? Secondly BD as time goes on should get richer and richer. That is the idea of starting a business venture such as this.

Allen - do you find it acceptable if players offer tokens to others outside their alliance to fight for them? Players have been banned for this, so its against the rules, but what is your opinion.

Some of you kids are really amusing.

So I will say this: I buy 30-50k tokens/era when I play to win, and I use them to buy boosts, send to my alliance and get back resources (a bit slower now after the stupid update), send to others to fight my enemies, send to my enemies to turn them, or just simply send to whoever I want for whatever reason I so chose.

Why? Cause they are MY tokens bought with MY money and who pay every BD employee's salary and Michael's Toyota Yaris 2012 model.

And there is no admin that will ever ban me for that. Why? Cause if they do I will eat them alive and they know it.

As long as free market and customer protection rules apply, anyone can do whatever they want with the tokens they purchased.

End of topic.

Seth LOL. You spammed the thread

Gavin, its not wrong. Consider am sending tokens for him to build up, which is perfectly legal in BD.

Secondly if players have been banned for sending tokens to others, then:

a) Its a stupid rule
b) Its unfair and wrong.
c) Remove that rule from the ToS if its already there.

And THIS:

Quote:
Cause they are MY tokens bought with MY money and who pay every BD employee's salary and Michael's Toyota Yaris 2012 model.
