IF someone is playing the game, does it shows in forum as online...?

or Only people at forums are show as online ?
I ask cuz I see many who dont do any forum activities are online all the time...

I think sometimes there is an option that let u choose not displayed as online (or invisible) when u log in on the forum. Though it doesn't show up more often...
