you say your allies with someone else or another alliance but instead of being allies you end up attacking them in their moment of weakness....
imo only the weak backstab

This isn't backstabbing. It's just bad timing/someone not paying enough attention.

Backstabbing is generally where one player/alliance attacks another player/alliance while they have an agreement not to attack eachother.

These days people claim to be backstabbed whenever anyone attacks them. So 9 times out of 10, it's a false claim. Which just makes it so much easier for untruthworthy players to backstab over and over again. If everyone cries wolf every 50 ticks, nobody is going to listen anymore.

Backstabbing is when you do something bad to an ally, ex. you kick an alliance member and conquer him for his crystal, or you take an allied alliances op on purpose

not really... it's an act of attacking someone who have an agreement that you and him will not attack each other without a warning and give them time to prepare.

NIce explanation. I agree...9 out of 10 times they are false. Most people claim to bring down the rep of the Premier Players in BD. Backstabbing is the dark side to BD but it is part of the game. A bad way to make friends ,but it happens.
