I simply refuse to believe that my fellow statesmen could be so gullible and dim to choose Mitt Romney :(

When I heard he had won in my state, I literally got an instant headache.
If those statistics are true, then we truly are doomed! Mitt Romney?!

I guess in order to succeed you have to be a ruthless liar with no scruples and certainly not a care in the world for other American people!

Consider this:

I mean really...Everyone who votes for this man should just go to Walmart, buy a gun and shoot themselves in each foot! In the long run, it will hurt less!

I am not sure if you posted it or I watched it somewhere. But in one of these elections in one of the north eastern states, it was reported that the votes were not being counted right. Seems they were being fixed and they already had numbers before the votes were counted. I think Maine or something. Not sure which. But if elections and who wins is being rigged in favor of Romney or others then....

I think thats the video I saw.

the problem with ron paul is that even if he is conservative, his ideas are progressive to the conservative status quo.

he doesnt stick to the party line. he doesnt follow the same brain dead rhetoric that we havent just been hearing for years, but for decades. this is change. ron paul represents change which easily surpasses obama. he would bring the republican party into the 21st century and challenge what it truly means to be a conservitive right winger.

however.

this scares people.

for the past lifetime its been pretty much the same. the foreign policy, the economic slogans, the ideas on wealth and prosperity. imo. ron paul is here too early. the older republicans, the ones with old fashioned views, the ones who have had the time to rise into positions of power make fox news, make the party, make the conservative population in general, dance as their puppet.

i would be interested if ron paul were to run as an independant. it would seem fitting as his new, fresh ideas are too much for the republicans to handle.
his head to head preference pollings with obama have him come off far better than romney/santorum who both lose in landslides of double digits.

THAT is a million dollar statement. Very rightly said. I just think America isn't yet ready for Ron Paul. What would make him a winning candidate would be a disastrous military adventure overseas or an extreme financial meltdown within the US, that would ACTUALLY turn EVERYONE against the current foreign policy, spending patterns etc etc., I think to bring about the change Ron Paul wants to, you need people to actually FEEL the need for such change. Its sad that people will only realize it when the situation actually gets worse.
