Alright... here's an imaginary scenario.

An enemy colony, hence referred to as TurdMonster, places something like 10 full squads of infantry in an OP near me. I send a spy over and plant an agent and wait 50 ticks. (Yes, this guy happens to be stupid and just has those 10 squads sit there.)

So, I decide I'm going to enable the Spy Lockdown option and send a missile at his ass. So, here's the real question...

If the Lockdown ends after like 4 ticks, can TurdMonster move his squads out like right after? If he can and I enable the Lockdown option again, will his squads still be trapped?

tl;dr - If you enable Spy Lockdown during the same tick someone begins to move their squads away, will his squads be able to move?

not the tick, but the time.

say a 1 tick/hour world.

The lockdown ended at tick 500. He moved in the 30th minute of tick 500.

If u want to lock him down again, u'll have to lock down before he send, in other words, before the 30th minute.

If u lock down in the 35th or 40th minute, he'll get away for sure.

Simply put: If the player has already clicked "Launch", lockdown won't have use anymore.

And, if u got missile eta 7 and the lockdown is 6, the squads can move out when the missile is eta 1

So, basically if you wanna ensure the lockdown stays active for the missile to hit - you would probably have to refresh the client like right after every tick passes to make sure you maintain the lockdown before they send them out?

idk if the lockdown can be overlayed or not (which means u can re-lockdown on the second tick to and it will go on for at least 3 ticks more)

make sure that when you put 2nd lockdown on he hasnt got spy protection because he knows u got spy inside

Nope, that is not possible. If you do a first lockdown, it lasts for 3-6 ticks. If you do a lockdown one tick later it lasts 3-6 ticks as well. So say the first one lasted 6 ticks and the second one lasted 4 ticks, you wouldn't get any use out of the second one.

Edit: Clarification, they do NOT add up.
