I believe this is a thread about a hypothetical WW3. Not a thread where you should bash religious people.

I wasn't bashing religion. I was merely countering his point.

Ilegion brought up the topic. And war is related to religion. Always has been. Also, religion always provides a good debate. Really, he wasn't bashing him at all. He provided his opinion of religion and religious people. He didn't flame or swear or anything. Atheists are the ones that are persecuted. Religious people just love to go and say ''STOP PERSECUTING ME!''.

That!!

How? I doubt any country would be interested in the least if that happened. Maybe if the war got totally out of control and people were crossing the Canadian/Mexican borders, then things could escalate into something bigger. Ya some countries might get involved if that happened. But it damn sure wouldn't be because they care about the US. The US provides military support and funding to several countries. And some big countries like China would suffer terribly if the trade between them and the US was disrupted or ended in any way.

Well, EU and a lot of our allies would be pressured into picking a side by the fighting factions in the U.S

Don't you think if Texas waged war on California (Ik dumb example :P ) that they would be asking for Mexicos support?

Other countries would be dragged in because the U.S policy is very involved in the rest of the world. If Israel wants there financial support they better step in, same goes for pretty much all of the world.

Just an example, and Mexico was a valuable asset to Germany in WW1
(If they had joined the central powers) I don't see why we wouldn't ask them for support, how different do you think Mexico is just over the border?

Some people make me laugh when they think Mexico is a terrible place (in some spots it is...) But Texas isn't much different, you think a gap of a few miles is really going to have a huge change?

But anyways, yeah Mexico was an example... What if Michigan was also at war and asked for aid from Canada?
