Marijuana was gonna be legalized in California, if it is in the US, or just a state, the income would sky rocket most likely. Either way, most people finds way anyways.
But ALL drugs? Maybe a few, but no.

I think weed is fine. Others not. I am not talking about people doing drugs. But what about forcefully making a person an addict like in cases of human trafficking. What about the drug lords and the drug trade. Since drugs are tied to crime these days, unless a suitable solution is proposed, I would support legalizing weed, but not anything else. For now atleast.

A lot of people can go on to do any drug, but that is their freedom. If they wanna screw up their life, then yeah they can do it. But the thing is, if you make cocaine or heroin freely available, then MAYBE there will be more cases of drug addiction because its freely available for anyone to buy and use. I dont see any good coming out of that. I mean people honestly dont lose a lot if their freedom regarding this is restricted lol. They infact stand to gain from it by not becoming addicts.

Yes. These things should be legalized.
There are any number of arguments against this, but the scientific data does not support them. If you look at other societies around the world that have effectively decriminalized or legalized drug use, you will see that those societies actually have a lower usage, addiction, etc. rate as the United States, as well as lower rates of crimes related to drug use & traffiking.
A great case in point would be to look back at the early part of the 20th century when alcohol was prohibited. Prohibition gave rise to American gangsters the likes of which are known the world over (Al Capone). The fact of the matter is that people are going to use what they want. If you take away societie's ability to track, tax and offer legitimate treatments for such things, you put that power squarely in the hands of undesirables. Who would you rather have in control of these things? You can try your best to tell people that they cant use, but they will find a way regardless, and they already do. Unfortunately, as long as it is illegal, there is absolutely no way to accurately track statistics of such things.
Now, I saw someone make reference to how this would "hurt the economy". Riddle me this: Which hurts the economy worse? Would it be those who would use drugs on their own time, and maybe not be great people for it (which already happens plain and simple), or would it be the trillions of borrowed dollars that are used to fight the perpetual "war on drugs"? Money we don't have and cant afford to borrow? Not only can we not afford it, but we have to eventually come to terms that the "war on drugs" will never end. And is one that you simply cannot win.
If you know you cannot win such a war, then what is your justification to go broke to continue fighting it? To better society? Since when have guns and wars actually bettered society over corrupting it, as opposed to leaning toward education and social programs to educate and give better options to those addicted such as open treatment programs etc.
Again, look at societies such as Amsterdam which already do this. This is a successful model of effective decriminalization and legalization.
Do the Netherlands spend trillions fighting a war on personal freedom, er, I mean drugs? Do they have huge amounts of their population locked up alongside rapists and murderers for small time drug offenses (also costing billions in tax money)? Do they have to fret the drug cartels murdering their citizens on their borders, or corrupting officials etc etc? No. They don't.
Check for yourself, all of the related statistics. You have the internet. Use it.
See which is more effective at actually curbing epidemic drug use? Is it trying to pin it down with laws and guns, or is it accepting it as a natural dynamic of civilization that you cannot fight with guns and laws, but rather with community social outreach and education?
For the life of me, I wonder how long it will take this country to realize such elementary things that other societies around the world have already realized.
Perhaps it is when we decide we will no longer pay for it. For those who make trillions fighting this war on drugs, just like any other war, are not interested in bettering society, but in keeping their own pockets lined.

i believe MARIJUANA should be legalized due to it being from this Earth itself, not made in someone's kitchen or through a pharmacy. I know I know, that's biased, but i feel Marijuana is a medicine for many people in this Country.
