Just something to think about, how many great people the gov. will block out if SOPA gets passed.

How many great indie games that won't be heard, how many businesses and major corporations that will shut down.

Which isn't terrible in some cases. All depends on who is in charge. I mean really if you look at every government in the world it is (Want to be allies? Thats not true. The decent governments will be the ones that are not too influential but have rich economies.

New Zealand
Sweden
Finland
Norway etc

Atleast New Zealand in my opinion is an excellent country. Peaceful, clean, beautiful and a very high standard of living. Thats what its all about in the end. Not war and nuclear weapons and world domination.

Sorry dude. But that is laughable. Its a shallow argument. Especially the "all depends who is in charge" part. In case you have not noticed, these people have no scruples and certainly have no interest in bettering your quality of life. Only in consolidating their own power and authority and putting down any resistance to it.

If what you hope for out of life is a dictatorial government that will trample you under foot, then rest assured that you will likely get it. Especially since you seem to be apt to defend it. Maybe you should enlist and go fight some oil wars, eh? Go put your life on the line and see how loyal the Elitists are to you for it...

lol yeah. We could very well be satisfied with a North Korea type of deal then. Just like the elitists divide and rule, power should be divided so that it isn't concentrated on a few. In this case, power should lie with the people of a country. The government should only be a body that enacts legislations for the good of the people. Which isn't the case now.
