I might not be but I hope that I'm the origin of this rumor as I'm in strict opposition to the pro build. It doesn't deserve the name pro build anymore.  ^ You could use 10/10/10 but it doesn't work as good, as I just figured out.   ^ Trying to work on a more effective build for mechs/tanks.

if you army is bigg enough to kill them all in round 1 damage is pointless.

This. 9 armor 21 damage beat 9 armor 21 range in a straight up fight before the update, but most people still used the range build. Why? Because you take more losses using damage build and you can lose your whole armor/damage army in 1 round without hitting back. Adding extra damage doesn't make damage much more useful, except using damage units to take OPs and make infrastructure.

man i wish i could do a screen shot and show u guys my inf on F2....1545 Exp on a full squad they have 3 silver stars lol
(i killed 60 tanks with it and one missile...)

I had (still have) a squad that was INF and at tick 8 they all had 2 silver stars
I wish i would have taken a screen shot of it, it was awesome...
