I used to do this and all it ever did was get me conquered.

I find this SO boring! I'm sorry. I don't want to be mean.

It may work for sure, but I play to enjoy the game!

Lazyness is the biggest enemy we have. To succeed you need action.

Good guide for lazy player indeed.

Still, it's unlikely I will ever try it. I have got to rank 335 in 900 ticks after starting in the middle of the game (tick 2000) because with people from one forum we made nice alliance from the start when we all joined. So, I'm quite sure to have alliance of like ten members from the start in future games too. :P So, getting good alliance is most important thing if you want to do well in game, I think.

Though, I might actually start on some other server with this strategy.

Edit: Now, I always click quote instead of edit... And I can't even find a way to delete this.

Well, if you had looked in my posts you would have realised that I accidentally clicked quote button instead of edit and posted without realising it. I guess it was your post that prevented me from deleting that useless post.

Well, that I get for being hasty to add some word I forgot.

Thank for the feedback Peikko. For me it's definitely just a stress free way of being on another server while playing heavily on another.

The alliance point is critical, but if newbs are patient & follow the guide, they will find they get lots of invites to join decent alliances, or are in a good position to apply to the top 10 alliances.

Just as an update, using strictly this strategy, on 1 server I am on tick 880, I am Rank 112, I have 20 full squads, and I have not donated. Just from doing... nothing at all! Now I might diverge & join a good alliance, or I might carry on for a while, or I might just go cause some havoc!!!

quote: "In the meantime, establish a good relationship with one of the best players you can find nearby. Explain to them that you want to be conquered so you can build up slowly, and could you arrange for them to do it as soon as you come out of protection. This offer is unlikely to be turned down!"

Why should I care who conqueres me? Can't I just go on with this strategy and simply ignore who gets the taxes?
