Don't change anything, I like relics how they are. 8%  8%  [ 77 ]
Make relics immune to spies, nukes and ion cannons when controlled by the admin. 21%  21%  [ 202 ]
Change the time relics spawn to tick 500 35%  35%  [ 335 ]
Change the way relics spawn so they spawn 1 at a time every so often till all 10 are released. 36%  36%  [ 339 ]

i think it would be better the old way not so long ago mars 3 era 11 finished in just under 1k tick so it would be alot better

i think 3 & 4 because then everyone will get a chance to capture a relic, for example, when all relics are released at once, when one player gets the units to take on one relic, they can just go & capture all the other relics & it makes it impossible for other players to have the chance to at least have a chance to have some fun on battle dawn ;)

Based on the replies here I'll be making my recommendation to the team to have relics spawn 1 at a time every 100 ticks starting at tick 500 and make the relics immune to spies/nukes/ion cannons(only when owned by the admin.

Being as making the relics immune to spies/nukes recieved a lot of support but not as much as the other 2 suggested changes I will make a compromise and recommend to lower the amount of units initially created to defend the relics by 50%. I believe this is the concern of those that didn't like the idea as the relics would cost a huge chunk of resources to be able to take. This will also make the relics more accessible to smaller alliances and not just the big boys giving a chance for underdogs to catch up!

Thanks for taking the time to vote everyone, I've removed the thread from global and put it in the announcements forum only now. I'll leave the thread open for anyone wanting to make any final remarks.
