Hello, since a week or two, everytime I want to connect to Battledawn, (not the old.battledawn), I first get a warning message from Norton Anti-Virus saying that "this site is not safe". (= http://www.battledawn.com) Luckily, it gives me the option to continue anyways, and the game works fine.

BUT I've noticed everytime I keep my BD login/in-game screen on for more than 10 minutes, some stupid add pops up... About ANYTHING: Poker, sex, messages that tell me my IP has been selected etc...
Of course I immediatly dismiss all of those.

I highly suspect that there is some kind of Adware virus on BD or something...
I'm sure this is not related to my computer, as I get the danger message on ANY computer I log in to.

How come i dont get any of this messages...? And if you get a warning about a site, doesnt automatically make it dangerous..
Anyway it has already been reported to the admins...Wait for a responce!

I've had no one else report such an issue. It seems that either the DNS server and/or proxy you are using is sending you the spams or you have some kind of adware/spyware on your computer that's sending you these things.

As to why norton think's our site is not safe it's probably due to the different areas of Battle Dawn that are linked on the main page itself as we use www.battledawn.com or some things still may be showing www.battlegate.net and the difference in them is probably what's setting off the warnings on your AV.

I had asked Julius to look into this and he corrected a few odd ends I believe which is probably why Norton is now happy

i've had several security systems tell me that BD is not a safe site. From everything that i've seen, it comes from the sites dns info... sometimes its because its simply location issues, sometimes it is because 'this site hides its identity', etc etc... but as far as viruses, BD is safe

I think it's because of the old forum being attacked. I checked the problem with my norton, it said one of the sites were trying to redirrect me somewhere, it were a page on the old client.

Yes.The Hall of fame section keeps showing up as unsafe.It keeps on saying that it is trying to redirect me to the old forum which has malware.
