Sometimes when i try to upload a .rar or a picture on a new email using yahoo or hotmail, it gets stuck on a random % of upload, and my internet goes down.
I have to reboot my pc or reactivate my network card.
It happens only on my pc, any idea of the problem?
I use win 7 home 32bit

I'm just going to go with the obvious and say use something better than yahoo or hotmail - all elitism aside, they both bombard you with junk and I've always known uploading files to both to be nigh impossible with large/multiple files.

I got google mail too, but yahoo and hotmail work fine on my laptop and other pcs....i might to have use google mail after all

The mail provider wouldn't cause your whole connection to fail, could you be more specific as to what is going wrong? Only two problems I can see is either your ISP drops your connection (unlikely, unless you have wireless or crap-tier ISP) or you have internal overheating problems (very unlikely).

Try seeing if there's a problem with you NIC card:
Start
Run
type "cmd"
type ping 127.0.0.1

If you get a response, its your connection. If you don't, its your computer.

Running through proxy servers might also cause uploads/downloads to fail at random places. I really don't think you're using a proxy .

Turns out google chrome has a problem...everything works fine on FF
