I'd like to know about you're guys' country.

I used to live in Japan but then moved here at the end of High School. Y'know in Japan, we call each other by our last names. I had to get used to calling mere friends by first names. But you guys have no end nickname. Like Soirem is Soi-chan. We cut the name in half and add the -san, which shows someone is best friends with someone else. I guess you could say calling someone by their first name in japan is somewhat lesser than calling your friend baby here in the US. I might have know all your last names because sometimes I am uncomfortable calling all of you by first names. XD Probably not though.

I live in Greece, the most pathetic country in Europe!!!!!

We call the others by the first names of course, and the last names when it comes to strangers!!

This country suc** in many ways, low economy, nervous people, ignorance everywhere....a few people actually care and dont ignore you many times...
Everything is not good :( This country may fall in like 10 years for now, unless someone does something about it...

Its a great country with awesome places to visit and live(if you have a lot of money of course)

There are great foods in terms of taste..our country's most famous food is named Souvlaki, it tastes like HEAVEN, you may have heard it, many Greeks open food stores in other countries and sell Souvlaki ....i can even smell it right now...!!!AWESOME!!!

Anyway thats a small sum up of my country...
and about the way we talk to each other, some friends when talking to each other use often the word ass****, but in "good" way, not to insult them....
sometimes it sounds akward!!!

I live in England, and we were a good country until our most recent general election this year. Now we have a conservative/liberal democrat government hacking and slashing all of our public services to bring socialism to it's knees and privatise everything they can get their hands on.

Take from the poor and give to the rich, this country is going to go seriously downhill for the next 4 years. (Note that this government came into power from a 'hung parliament', which, put bluntly, means an extremely indecisive election in which there is no clear winner - traditionally after a hung parliament there will be a reelection within 6 months to bring about a more satisfying result. Our current gov't has no intention of doing this)

All politics aside, England is pretty cool, but I don't intend to stick around. I'm going to be studying Japanese and/or Italian alongside my English degree and intend to move abroad once my degree is done.

The vast majority of BD players are from the US/Canada, it's just that the best players are from Europe (and Peru) ;)

Not all in BD is from europe.. but i am =D

I'm from norway :)
we EU call us the best country to live in :)
but I'm from a city called Bergen (the second largest city in norway) and we have a saying "I'm not from Norway, I'm from Bergen", it's because bergen is what used to be the capital and the original country Norway, till the east side messed it up =/
My city got even more rain then England xD
Norway is pretty cold since it's far north, and up north they got days and night who last 24 hours =)

More about my country:
If you look at a map of Japan, there's Tokyo, then south (or west) is Osaka. People from Osaka are have southern accents like how the US has people with southern accents (though imo it's more eastern than southern). So we have "southerners" like you guys. If you go north enough it snows in those northern parts of japan. But a lot of Japan gets snow, Osaka even does, and most of the country north of there.
