I have tried eveyrthing to fix this tried count less searchs so last thing I can thing of... The BD community :D my problem is it says, the folder path "My Documents" contains an invalid character. when ever I try and install any program that is what I get

please help me out I read for hours nothin is workin my computer Disk Drive doesn't work so i can't just do a clean install of XP

EDIT
I have a temp fix of it i made a new account and when I use it it works could it be my Login name is 47?

no no I all ready have XP installed just fine have for years its when I try to install any program I get the error

The folder path "My Documents" contains an invalid character.

and because of it I cant install new programs and such

Try installing on a different path... My path for everything actually is C:\Program files \ Installations here..

can you get me a pic of your problem ? might help!

I tried changing the path to a few things well I got the thing installed so not evrything that I try and install dose it only a handfull or so dose to install it I had to make a new account on my computer and use that

I would love to upgrade to 7 but my comp sucks it woudn;t handle it and the disk drive dosn't work on it I just need to buy a new one all over I just gotta hope it dosn't come with Vista Vista is the worst

Okay, download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and scan your computer. That will eliminate any Malware if that is the cause of this, why isn't your disk drive working?
