Of being bombarded with players equipped with a neverending supply of reds? Sure. We want a competitive era, not a money era.

What Tom is saying is we want an era that is competitive first and foremost. Will money and heavy boosting be involved? Of course. This is Battle Dawn afterall, and boosting is part of the game. Will BYZ have its heavy boosters? Count on it. Will whatever competition shows up have its heavy boosters? I count on that also.

But there is a difference between a heavy booster who spends $70 USD on an era and one who spends $300 USD + on an era, and that kind of disparity in boosting can turn an era that might have been incredibly competitive into one that is/was won for the most part based on the size of someones checkbook.

That is in no way suggesting that the heaviest boosters always win a round. Look at SAGE on the Champs era for the perfect example. IDK if they boosted more than Andrei and VND, but they were either the #1 or #2 boosters on that era and have lost it.

Many other examples exist. But still, the best eras are when both sides have about equal boosting power and the war/era is won on the SKILL, ACTIVITY, and TACTICS of the winning alliance, not the size of that alliances wallet.

The CE era was unimpressive in terms of competition. But this e4 there should be 4+ teams going for the win.
