From BYZ to ERE, I've been on both sides of it.

Almost everyone in !i! account shared, save a few loyal members.
Relics were purchased.
Betrayal was used as a legit tactic.

I think BYZ and ERE were more honorable.

I must say that John Howard does an awesome job of telling his side of the story. I absolutely love reading his posts.

Backstabbing is an unfortunate part of this game and one thing that every alliance should be wary of. A big reason for choosing your alliance members carefully. In the year and a half of playing this game I have noticed that most people that back stab have very legitimate reasons for doing so and you can decide whether or not you agree with them.

Bottom line here..The Plague, i.e. ByE4 decided to attack an allied alliance FRND not once, but twice during the current era of E4 and Attila made a decision to help FRND.

So there have been many levels of backstabbing, which is usually the way with Battle Dawn and we each get to decide who we want to side with.

Betrayal is a thing of nature.
Some men have it, some don't..
The problem that presents itself is simple.
If you backstab your alliance for whatever reason, there are bound to be a few blokes inside it who will remember it forever.
Those few who did nothing wrong and did not deserve the repercussions of the said actions.

I've been around the block a few times on battledawn, and as a leader, ive never had the misfortune of having my own men turn on me, or leave my alliance to turn on me or others.

I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but for those who know me, I'm of the old breed.
Honour and Loyalty I applaud, deceit and mistrust i loath.

If you betray your alliance, your of the lowest kind around.
if you hate your alliance, Leave and then take up arms in an honourable way.
Never strike ur foe when his back is turned.

Many men have come to me when i lead, saying they will betray their alliance and come to my family.
I will never accept these people.
No decent, honourable Leader would.
he would cast him out and inform the alliance.

No one seems to realize I was out of BYE4 for about 2 and a half weeks on vacation. Riley wanted me to join DOOM and backstab them, but i told DOOM about it and went on vacation. Soon after FRND asked if i wanted to join them and i gladly accepted. Shortly after Muadbib started complaining about FRND ops and declared war. Check the forums. All the evidence is there.

Since im in FRND its my duty to help them. Its not backstabbing. Moreover after my relic was bought the actual DEAL was that I join back up with !i! and help finish up the round. Even though i didnt want to join back after I realized somethings, If i did i wouldnt have been able to do so because shortly after !i! was filled with replacements. So John backstabbing is all around us. You just choose to only look at things that hurt your allaicne.
