What are the alliances on each side?

curently it is

GRR v SOLD S0LD SO1D REB FEAR FOE FOE1 DROW

worth mentioning is that FEAR seems to have another war opening up

on another note ... rough day for SOLD in africa . loosing a load of land and a bunch of units

last tick ... 4 grr members decided to do a crap load of hurt to SOLD and instead of turning from a battle which was certainly lost we stood and fought

we did lost in the end .... but the battle was a success to the 4 of us who fought it

we lost 1700 units killed 1900 units . thanks to a spy sold had double our number ( it was only just us outnumbered until defence was sent

BUT as you will see in the brs provided . we lost 4 armies but we did great damage and killed 8 sold armies

with all armour gone and a tonne of their range out this was a extremely good battle for GRR

some may call this a disaster but we veiw it differntly ( also i cut and pasted the other sold guys into the top rightish of the br so u can see who sent and lost what )

Must be time to donate them back in a day!

Most of the fighting is done by Grr vs SoLD. Earlier, FEAR fought with SoLD and DGB fought with Grr.

Minor participants are: RAWR (grr sub) and SE on Grr's side and S0LD/So1D and FOE on SoLD's side.

FOE1 and DROW and REB only defended themselves against Grr attacks a long time ago and are not active in the war.

So the setup currently looks like:

Grr (+ RAWR + SE) vs SoLD (+ S0LD + So1D + FOE)

PS: Spartan likes painting Grr as the underdog, despite the almost tripple crystal rating and larger armies they have. Don't pay attention to him. If S0LD So1D and FOE were all active, we would have slight advantage, given the actual activity, they are in the better position.

You can't twist it one way here and another way there. Anyone can easily check ingame that Grr had bigger armies before that big battle and still has bigger armies afterwards (well, the difference did shrink by ~70k metal).
