Take a look at your regular booster alliance territory. What do you see? A hive, another hive, a sub hive, a brother alliance hive, a bunch of random outposts, nukes, colonies, noobs... Etc etc.
Now take a look at MFB territory. There is a hive. There are strategically placed outposts, gates and radars. That's all. There are empty spaces. No mish-mash of neutral/friendly outposts and colonies.
Then what happens? We acquire new territory. Repeat the process of removing the mish-mash. That's what "securing" territory is. Alot of alliances don't understand this, and think the job is done when they conquer everything. They will only find out how wrong they are when it comes back to bite them in the ass. Which it does. It always does.
