Wow... wish some1 had told me that we'd made this a topic XD oh well, time to toss in the fish's 2 cents. For starters, D3AN is NOT multis, i've fought with, and alongside these guys on several worlds, and i know what theyre capable of, in fact, 11 hours straight is kinda low for them XD As for attacking you guys when we did, it had been planned all along, i just needed to wait for the right time. And last but not least, the epic fail we did, well.. unfortunatly, due to RL matters, just about everyone involved in the attack were forced offline, and we don't leave each other to die. Its all or nothing. had RL not gotten in the way at that time, we would have turned and caused some havoc like we're best at. Dont you worry RoL, DKS will be back for MUCH more fun l8r in the round

After talking to us he realized we weren't (thank you Seth!) As for D3AN, idk why they're all banned, but i know them on several worlds, and i can only assume that Seth is wrong, otherwise they've been getting away with multi accounting for eras. I've fought with, and against them for months, far to long XD but as for whose being banned, i think we should turn our attention to DBH... looks like 3 of them were just banned, their leader, being a good friend of mine, makes me wonder why, i can only assume multis, but i hope not, they were good allies.

D3AN were banned of the obvious multi's/farms they created at their new relocation spot. You don't relocate and a magical 20 colonies appear for you to take. Note that the conquerors are the ones banned, and not the other members? Don't see D3AN barking they don't cheat now. Also, DBH banned, don't know why.

D3AN, i am not quite sure, i have to hope that Seth is wrong, but i believe you to be right...
As for DBH, their leader and many of their members account shared. Which is unfortunate, because i lost one of my best allies. Not easy to replace such good allies as them.

Well, it seems permanent, which sucks. i lost 2 allies pretty quick, along with DIP to another ally, so 3 within what? 100 ticks? it sucks, but i still got others. oh well, this era looks like it is gonna shape up nicely into a huge fight from tick 1500 to the end. with half the world, vs the other half.

Sry guys. Had to be done. D3AN...wow.
I have been watching these guys for some time. Time after time I could sense something was wrong, the IPs rotated at convenient times, things just never seemed 'right' with those guys. I guess they got over confident of their DHCP abilities, becasue I spent a few hours leading up to those bans tracking the farms and their IP addresses until I managed, with alot of digging, to track the IPs masks back to the same service providers as all of the banned D3AN members. I initially thought that it must be jsut one guy making them, but then, again with digging, I figured out that they were being very clever at making the farms and never conquering their own farms..Well...almost never. Dynamic IP or not, the ISP pretty much told on them. I do feel really really bad for the D3AN leader, as he seemed clean as a whistle. I hate it when fair players are so negatively affected, but what can ya do?
As for DBH, I just happened to see the alliance leader was logging into all of the now banned member's accounts. It was a right place at the right time kinda thing. Initially, he tried to say it was him and his girlfriend (the also banned conquer of his = farm), but this did nothing to explain how he shared IP with all of those fellow alliance mates. To add to the scenario, one of the now banned members I was familiar with because he and his roomate had just sent me a photograph last week to clear themselves to play from the same IP without the threat of being banned. I knew for a fact that this player didnt even reside in the same country as our aforementioned alliance leader, so the "friends coming over and playing" arguement was also not going to hold any weight. In light of this "Old Man V" as his newest multi was called, confessed that he was "just trying to help his alliance". And that was that.
Needless to say, I also ended up regretting working with the one member whom I cleared last week in light of the photo proof of identity he sent me.
There once was a day when I would be very quick to judgement and iron-fisted in my policing methods. However, over time I came to think that maybe, just maybe I was being too hard, and I should be more eager to work with players instead of banning first and asking questions later.
The irony is that I dont remember many instances of regretting my more hard nosed approach, whereas lately, I keep finding myself in positions where I regret not being more hard nosed.
I really am in no mood tonight to swing the banhammer around, but I found one guy to be maintaining 2 spy/slave colonies on E3. Now I know they are his, because I can see the times and IPs that they were logged. I tried to be nice and let him off with a warning, and he continues to argue with me that he has no multi and that "I need to learn what a DHCP server is" basically treating me as if I am a fool. His IP remained static from the time the 2 slaves were created, right up until I confronted him with the names and locations of them and told him that I didnt appreciate being lied to. He then must have reset his router, cuz he no longer shared the IP with the slaves (although the subnet is still the same), and that is when he made the 'DHCP server' comment. I still dont want to ban anyone else tonight. Ug.
It just sucks that this is the kind of thing that happens when i try to be more understanding and receptive to working with players instead of just outright banning them. Very disheartening that people can be this way.
Gone are the days of honesty and honor it seems.
