So it looked like SAGE and NEW went to war with unknowns upstart DoK the other day. And lots of boosts!

SAGE conquered a few colonies that were scattered around far away from the hive (for some reason?) and captured the relic.

NEW on the other hand was making their way to the heart of DoK on Svalbard Island in the frozen north. I am guessing that the deal was that SAGE gets the relic and NEW gets to conquer the colonies for their crystal collection.
SAGE/NEW allies ?
NEW launches a massive attack against a DoK colony on Svalbard with something like 150 or more squads.
The NEW squads are annihilated, soon after 2 boosts in about a 12 hour span!

So whenever you see some NEW squads wandering about, destroy them so we can all enjoy more boosts in the future!
