CAE betrayed us LOL.

They use more than half their military as Infantry, that is why they are catching up to us D:

XXIV had some nice momentum..... then they decided to pick at SWT2 grrrrrr and we pretty much held them because they never had more than half their forces in our area. In light of this we pretty much killed their squads with a 5 to 1 kill death ratio (it was more, but we had an epic loss of 10 squads vs 17), and we racked up 150 full squads of tanks and vehicles give or take around 10 either way, while losing around 30. Granted we did use 70% infantry but.... whatever works XD But to give XXIV, now WaLR, some credit, they took around 50% of our ops in close to 48 ticks and did take 3 colonies.

During this time CAE went for the easy pickings and rose in the ranks while SWT2 sadly dropped 2 places in the conflict. Near the end of the war, XXIV dropped to second place, they made a cease fire with SWAT, and we were left really, really depressed.

Now, having fought with (And not losing to ^.^) both WaLR and CAE, I can say that they are both skilled, but WaLR is skilled at launching quick strikes. If you hold your ground for the first 100 ticks or so they lose momentum. CAE is more methodical. They will hit you hard at the start, and wait a little while and hit you again, and again, and again..... CAE was much more predictable compared to WaLR's spastic movements.

The only reason XXIV lost much in the battle vs SWAT was that some players made noob attacks. I was doing a lot of the damage vs SWAT and would have done a lot more if it wasn't for SWT2 and going away for a weekend.

It was a shame really. SWT2 held me up long enough and then agreed to a NAP. With that delay SWAT mostly relocated and then I had to be inactive for a few days....

I would have liked to been able to finish that war but it just wasn't meant to be I guess.

CAE is on top to stay. Unless there is some major cooperation to take down CAE, which would be awesome and would make for one of my most exciting eras.
