CHAPTER 3

Deadman looked up as a motor shell exploded onto the right of his hiding place. It had been a few days since SoLD invaded into the gigantic city where the Newb alliance operated from. They had pushed the Newb forces all the way to the headquarter buildings before been forced into the outskirts of the city. The fighting was heavy and the whole city sang with the sound of gun fire and exploding shells. Readying is weapon, he came out from under the damaged tank and began to walk towards the alley on the right. It was time for him to get out of the city and join the rest of his team .....

"Time to move"whispers Neon packing up his sniper rifle onto his bike. Behind him all twelve of his team quickly mounted there bikes ready for the battle about to take place. nWo had officially entered the war alongside Newb and they would see it to the very last.

Like a pack of wolfs they descended upon the unsuspecting S0LD outpost. Firing with there mini guns, they quickly turned the sleeping outpost into a frenzy,with the enemy running for cover or dieing on the spot. Within minutes of the attack the enemy hover trucks and heli's had begun to retreat with their soldiers .....

...whats next...

CHAPTER 4

Darklighter looked up as the first rays of the sun appeared over the horizon, casting its golden light over the hills. But what was that large body over the east? It had appeared in the darkness of the night , no sound , no alarm , no warning.

"What are you looking at dark?" asked Neon as he came out of his tent. "That thing over to the east of that hill" replied Darklighter pointing to the east. "Lets take a look" Neon voices his idea after a few minutes.

An hour later both nWo warriors were speeding through the open plain towards the mysterious object in the eastern sky. As they got close,they could see the mammoth size of the object. "Its a floating city! look at the size of that!" Darklighter lets out the breath he had been holding. "More like a huge ship" replies Neon.

Aiming there bikes upwards, they slowly ascend towards a door on the side of the huge ship. Leaving there mounts on a large platform close to the door, they quickly walk there way to the huge metal door."Its already open!" Darklighter voices his surprise.

Readying his weapon, Neon slowly enters through the door into a hallway already lit up. "Be on your guard, someone is or have already been here" whispers Neon moving forward.

Hours of searching led the two men to a darkened hangar,full of unused heli's. "Nothing here" says Darklighter moving forward. But as he turned towards Neon he felt a sharp pain on his left shoulder. Neon watched in horror as his teammate fell, looking up he begins firing at a figure on top of a heli .

Taking cover Neon quickly switched to thermal vision, slowly scanning the hangar for the unknown attacker. Seeing the attacker running towards the door, Neon quickly begins firing at him thinking the attacker would turn back. But he was wrong as the attacker jumps up and onto the walkway in front and to his horror take up position on a machine gun emplacement.

Neon ran towards his fallen comrade, quickly helping him towards cover. Neon nearly gets Darklighter behind a crate when the gun began to fire at their position. Leaving Darklighter behind the crate Neon quickly runs to the end and starts climbing a heli, hoping the attacker will not see him. To his surprise Darklighter throws a grenade towards the attacker distracting him.

The moment he reaches the top, Neon began firing with his gun, and he heard the pained shout from atop the walkway. Quickly jumping down, he helps Darklighter onto a heli and then takes the pilots seat. Within minutes they were in the air and moving towards what seemed to be the exit. As they neared the front wall simply split open letting in a blinding flood of light from the outside.

tim081 watched with a pained expression as the heli left. Looking down at his bloodied leg he quickly takes up his comm. "All clear, you may move in now Chainbreaker." he gives the go ahead for the rest of the army to move in.

all i needed was a cape
